Longe before the chains came to town, actually for over 51 years, Walt's Hitching Post has been serving Northern Kentucky true "pit style" ribs.  No smoke "flavoring" is added like some of the wanna-be's do.  At Walt's, their famous baby back ribs are deliciously smoked over a wood fire's open flame in the Open Pit located right on property. 

Walt's serves dinner seven days a week and has a menu designed to satisfy the rib lovers in your family, as well as those looking for other options such as Barbequed Chicken, Broiled Alaskan Halibut, Choice New York Strip, or their U.S. Roast Prime Rib of Beef that is roasted daily and cut to order in Petite, Queen, or King size.

Being a family owned and operated restaurant, the folks at Walt's take pride in serving your family as if they were their own.  That's why they prepare daily specials, the soups, like the vegetable beef - made with cuts of Prime Rib, salad dressings like the Tomato Garlic House, or the Roquefort Bleu, and all sauces fresh from scratch.  The German style Cole Slaw is practically an area delicacy, and the thick-cut, salted Rye bread is out of this world after they toast it.

Walt's can also host your large party or corporate gathering in their large banquet room, or cater an event at your location for up to 400 guests.
